Wanderers, Adventurers, Seniors . . . 2017 SENIOR model BOHEMIAN concept SHOOT

Inspired by the carefree style of the modern Bohemian adventurer, this spring, Suzanne Deaton Photography takes 7  Senior models into a lush paradise,  where the only limits to their portraits. . . is the imagination.

Inside every woman is a bohemian, waiting to be set free . . . time for relaxed clothing, beautiful prints, lose hair, no shoes . . .

. . . and suddenly, after all these years, she finally become comfortable in her own skin,  and knows it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings . . .

and she walks carefree and barefoot in a field of flowers,  with the wind at her back . . .

 . . . and realizes she will never knew the value of a moment until it became a memory . . .

 . . . and her force is something to be reckoned with, living on the edge of nature, she becomes it’s voice . . .

In every woman, there is a new door to a different world . . . where the path is unknown, and the horizon is ahead . . .

. . . and she sways to the music of friendship on a journey someplace far away. . .

 . . . and in the end, she knows this . . . What good is living a life you’ve been given if all you do is stand in one place? . . .

BOHO STYLING:  Rose Clemons gave the “nod of approval”  to all the looks we photographed, we had a more difficult time trying to decide what NOT to use, than what to take.

LOCATION:  Shout out to Amanda Back for taking us somewhere “off the beaten path,”  Powell County, KY.  I have to say the quick sand was my favorite part . . . and the pizza at Miguels was superb!

BEHIND THE SCENES:  thanks to all the parents who let me take their daughters for the day, for trusting me to help make this concept shoot an adventure the girls won’t soon forget.
