Meet Stewart and Haley Napier.  They were born on December 8, 1996,  one minute apart and if the planets lined up the way Stewart would have wanted, he would be the oldest!   Sorry Stewart, Haley will probably never let you forget she is older by 30 seconds.   I promise it’s only fun being the oldest until it’s not, like when you get gray hair and wrinkles and your younger sibling doesn’t.  I am sure one minute will not make that much of a difference though.

Inspired by the carefree style of the modern Bohemian adventurer, this spring, Suzanne Deaton Photography takes 7  Senior models into a lush paradise,  where the only limits to their portraits. . . is the imagination.

BOHO STYLING:  Rose Clemons gave the “nod of approval”  to all the looks we photographed, we had a more difficult time trying to decide what NOT to use, than what to take.

LOCATION:  Shout out to Amanda Back for taking us somewhere “off the beaten path,”  Powell County, KY.  I have to say the quick sand was my favorite part . . . and the pizza at Miguels was superb!

BEHIND THE SCENES:  thanks to all the parents who let me take their daughters for the day, for trusting me to help make this concept shoot an adventure the girls won’t soon forget.

Spend $100 on Matilda Jane, get free photo shoot next Wednesday! On May 25, 2016 we are hosting a Matilda Jane trunk show!   Come in and shop between the hours of 2 and 6, with my beautiful,talented friend and trunk keeper, Estee Laughary ( Trunk keeper number 1617).   Photo shoots are next Wednesday  (Prints will be sold the next week at an order view appointment at the studio).   CALL TO BOOK photo shoot for a convenient time or just stop by and shop!   You don’t want to miss Matilda Jane in Hazard!

Griffin is handsome, kind, and has just enough unpredictability in his eyes to keep you guessing what’s he’s going to do next.  At heart, he’s a good ole country boy!  He’s a gentleman, generous, fiercely loyal, and spends his free time hanging with friends and family around his cabin in these beautiful, Eastern Kentucky mountains.  Once you get to know Griffin, if he lets you in, he’s a friend for life.

As Hazard High School’s first ever  1st Team All-State Baseball player for pitching and hitting, Griffin realizes what sports have taught him.  Good character, how to be a good teammate, leader and friend.  He wanted his senior pictures to reflect just that . . . no fuss, no fancy, just carefree and natural with a mountaintop scene in the background.
