Logan Sizemore, one of my favorite people, he’s a character to say the least. I have always looked forward to capturing his ages and stages, and even though it makes me sad he is growing into a fine young man, I am going to enjoy this “middle school” stage as well. Gone is his baby voice, replaced by a confident, upbeat voice that blesses people wherever he goes and leaves me rolling on the floor laughing every time we get together. Here are some of Logan’s accomplishments in school this year! He was on the Principal’s Honor Roll all year again, he received Math, Science, Reading, Spelling, Social Studies, English and Attendance awards. He also got highest GPA in English & Social Studies!
Logan loves history so it’s no surprise he is also very civic minded, serving his community by saying the “Pledge of Allegiance” at Relay for Life, and my favorite story . . .
Over the last 7 months, LOGAN has been collecting pop tabs for the Shriners Hospital. In early April, his parents, Laura and Daniel took him to the local meeting where he turned them in to Leslie Co. Shrine Club President, Frank Baker. It was estimated that he had collected over 20,000 tabs. The tabs were taken to the Cincinnati Shriners Hospital Burn Unit where they will be used to help purchase medical and non-medical supplies for kids in the hospital there.
Wow, this young man makes me want to be a better person. I’m so thankful for the young people I meet and get to know and love through photography. Here’s a look at our latest session.
